FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

GAME DAY

On game day players must wear…
• Mouth Guard (no guard, no play)
• Club training top
• Hoodie (free with registration)
• Guernsey's (Owned by club) - team managers distribute these as players arrive on game day.
• Football boots
• Shorts (WRFL approved with sponsors)
• Black socks (sold through club)

Please note for colder days players are allowed to wear undergarments e.g Black long sleeve under jumper Skins: Skin tone Matches Junior games are played on a Sunday unless otherwise advised.


Training NIGHTS- TBC

Under 8s & 9s, 10s

Training will be one night per week at with Bryan Martyn Oval Newport or Langshaw Reserve Altona North.

Under 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s

Training will be two nights per week at with Bryan Martyn Oval Newport or Langshaw Reserve Altona North.


Game Day Roles (Parents)

Every week we require parents for the following roles: On average your family will have to do a role every 2-3 weeks and a roster will be created by your team manager.

  • Goal Umpire
  • Water person (x2)
  • Oranges (1/2 time)
  • Lollies 3/4 time (optional)
  • Umpire escort Siren / timekeeper
  • Washing duty & Canteen
Under 9s
  • Match day manager (home games)
  • Goal Umpire
  • Water person (x2)
  • Oranges (1/2 time)
  • Lollies 3/4 time (optional)
