Latest protocols to keep us all safe, and to keep us training

28 Jun 2020 by NPJFC Communications

Hi all,

It was certainly great to see all our juniors back on the training track last week.

To ensure we can keep everyone safe and to ensure we can keep training (and not get shut down) we must follow the correct COVID safe procedures.

Here are some simple ways you can help keep us:

AT TRAINING

• Players and team officials MUST enter and exit via their nominated areas.

• No spectators can be on the oval during training, unless they have specifically been asked by coaching staff.

• All players must sanatise hands when entering and exiting ground (club will supply). Please wash hands before and after training.

• Players must try and keep their mouthguards in their mouth

• Do not share drink bottles (bring your own)

• Get In, Train, Get Out. All teams must quickly get on and off the ground within their allotted training time (The next team cannot go on the ground until the whole oval is vacant)

• If you need to cough or sneeze, do it into the crook of your arm.

• Spectators to maintain a safe 1.5m distance.

IN GENERAL

• If you, or people you have been in contact with are sick, do not attend training or games and advise your football coach who is responsible for informing the COVID Safety Officer.

• Generally, you should be tested for COVID-19 if you develop fever or respiratory symptoms.

• Stay home and seek medical treatment when you are sick. Do. not attend if unwell.

• People who present to training with symptoms to be sent home immediately.

• Any person wishing to attend training or games that has underlying health conditions or is considered a vulnerable person should consult with a healthcare professional prior to attending.

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

• Where there is a positive COVID-19 case, the player or official must notify the Club immediately.
