NPJFC COVID-19 Update

18 May 2020 by NPJFC Communications

Dear NPJFC families,

As a committee we continue to meet and discuss the evolving situation that is season 2020. To ensure that we are always acting in accordance with AFL, WRFL and State Government guidelines, training will not be commencing this week as previously proposed in our latest April 20 Newsletter. We are currently in the process of constructing a ‘back to training’ plan in conjunction with the WRFL that will endeavour to ensure the safety of players, coaches and community members.

It is important to note that when training does recommence, there will be restrictions and processes in place to ensure that we are meeting all safety guidelines and outcomes at NPJFC.
We understand that there may be people that are feeling anxious about the possible resumption of training. To help reassure our families, and in accordance with AFL guidelines, we have appointed a COVID-SAFE officer with medical expertise. We will only recommence and continue training if our COVID-SAFE officer and our Committee are satisfied NPJFC has the correct protocols and processes in place and our families are adhering to them.

We will continue to keep you informed with any updates from the WRFL and relevant agencies as they come in as well as when we are set up accordingly to commence restricted training.
We hope that this finds you all safe and well.

Go Power!
