Pre Christmas and in January our club conducted 3 major workshops to define the proposed direction of the club in 2019 and beyond. Over 30 leaders from our club representing all age groups and areas attended 3 sessions looking at areas of opportunity to continue to develop our club. At our last session AFL Coaches Danny Sexton (St. Kilda) & Mathew Egan (Melbourne) worked with the groups providing their insights and have offered to help define our football program and support our coaches in 2019.
 
This year our coaches will also be supported by the latest drills and AFL knowledge via an innovative online training platform developed and presented in person by former AFL Fremantle coach Chris Connolly.

As of last Monday, a new Junior Football Operations department has been formally appointed to oversee our 2019 program. During this week the 1st round of coaching interviews have finalised and the Club would like to formally congratulate and welcome the following people to the 2019 coaching teams.

Brett Henderson (Williamstown Football Club Development Coach Program Facilitator at Outside the Locker Room, SEDA AFL Facilitator ) will also be a resource for all our coaches and players in areas such as: player welfare, program support & coaching development.
